We offer a 1-hour interactive beginner music workshop for preschools, daycares, and lower elementary classes. The session is designed primarily for children ages 2-5 and introduces foundational music concepts through engaging games, movement-based activities, and character-led learning.

 

During the workshop, students are introduced to early piano skills, rhythm and beat recognition, basic note reading, and listening development in a fun and accessible way. The goal is to build confidence, coordination, and early musical understanding while keeping the experience playful and age-appropriate.

 

Our instructors bring all required materials; we simply need an open space large enough to facilitate movement-based activities.

• Beginner-friendly (no prior experience required)

• Offered in English or bilingual (English/French) format (ideal if your students already have some exposure to French)

• $5 per child (we travel to you) or $4 per child (your group visits our studio)

• $30 minimum

• Parental engagement/presence encouraged

 

This workshop is designed as a low-cost enrichment opportunity and a way for families to experience how structured group music learning works before committing to full-term programs at Carillon. Our regular group classes are typically $30 per student per session, so this provides an accessible introduction to the format and teaching style.

 

We typically recommend scheduling sessions shortly before pickup time so parents have the option to arrive early and participate, though timing is fully flexible based on your schedule.
