About Samantha
Samantha has been studying piano since 2013 and is currently working toward completing her Royal Conservatory of Music Level 10, with plans to continue to the ARCT diploma. She has performed in choirs, church bands, and theatre pit bands, and has received multiple awards at Carillon Festivals in contemporary, jazz, classical, and ensemble performance categories.
She has been teaching at Carillon Music Academy since 2023, where she teaches both group and private lessons and works extensively with young beginners through the Colour Music Class program. Samantha also leads Carillon’s French Immersion Music Program and coordinates the academy’s outreach workshops for local schools, preschools, and childcare centres.
Samantha completed early French immersion and graduated with a Dual Dogwood Diploma, and has achieved a B2 certification in French from the French government. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Psychology, with a focus on childhood development. She also worked as a trained peer tutor and completed training in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including children with special needs. She is passionate about creating a supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s needs, helping them build confidence, musicality, and habits that extend beyond the piano.
