Brock has had a passion for music from an early age. He began taking lessons at Carillon Music Academy at just five years old through the CMC program and continued his musical journey with the academy for 14 years.

Over the years, Brock’s love of music has grown into a particular passion for jazz. He served as lead alto saxophonist in his high school jazz band and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies at Capilano University. Alongside his studies, Brock continues to develop his skills as a pianist and enjoys exploring different styles and approaches to music.

Outside of teaching and performing, Brock loves composing music, drawing inspiration from jazz, hard bop, and video game soundtracks. His diverse musical interests and enthusiasm for learning allow him to bring a creative and encouraging approach to his students.
