Sofia grew up in the Carillon Music Program and has been playing piano ever since. She joined the Carillon team in 2024, and teaches CMC group classes and beginner piano private lessons. Sofia enjoys playing music of all styles, but particularly experimenting with keyboard harmony, and is a regular player on her church worship team. Alongside piano, Sofia also enjoys singing and theatre, and has collaboratively written and arranged songs of her own and with friends.

Outside of Carillon, Sofia is an English major at Simon Fraser University, a volunteer mentor in her school community, a creative writer, and a stage manager whenever the opportunity arises.

Sofia has worked with kids of all ages and abilities as a camp counselor and volunteer with the kids and youth programs at her church. Her classes consist of helping students find fun in the learning process, sharing her knowledge and passion, adapting to suit their needs and interests, and preparing them for their future in music.
